We've both tried our hands at blogging several times before...neither of us has been particularly successful. Let's see if writing in collaboration is more motivational for us than going solo. We certainly hope so.
We're in the midst of trying to revamp our ministry updates & resume communication with our friends, family and support network. Having our own website (or at least a new blog) seemed like a good idea.
How do we look so far?
Remember, this is for posterity, so be honest, hmmm?

ReplyDeleteThis is what so many of us (whether supporters, prayer warriors, or friends and family) need. I think as missionaries, it is very important to keep in touch but yet, so difficult to find the time. So, with this, you two can add short messages on a regular basis or one long one every so often. I would also suggest that if you are not sure that you can do this regularly, it might be worth it to find someone with whom you keep in touch and have them write an update regularly. I want to be more than a person who gives money to a missionary...I want to be their friend whom they can share their ups and downs with. That's what I always look for in supporting someone...and meeting with them in person from time to time.
ReplyDeleteIf you can keep this up, it will be a wonderful gift to your future children. Do it with them in mind and I'm sure you'll persevere. And as for the rest of us, it will be fun to tag along in spirit at least on your journey.
